Autocosm
Autocosm is a fantasy novel……what?? Stop mocking me. What did you expect from a teenager? Either way, it is a very good fantasy novel which I make sure to only fill with the most original backstories and themes, and especially characters. The characters I am quite proud of.
Summary
Ok, I’ll make this brief, and straight from my NaNoWriMo page: Royce was an avid drawer, sketch artist, or whatever you want to call it. Sometimes his work exceeds priority over his friends and family, the result of a minor form of OCD. As a result, he is made seclusive and keeps to himself, basing his real life decisions on and inhabiting his own autocosm. He even has an “imaginary” “friend”, a snake named Tisiphone, whom has been following him since he was a toddler. To be honest, he doesn’t want her tracking his every move. He begins to doubt she’s even imaginary as she begins to grow more and more snappy and angered, pressing him to draw someone named Rheine in a sketchbook. Through all this demonic trickery, he is eventually drawn in what at first seems to be his own world and introduced to an intriguing and unique cast of characters, although the strange truth behind this “paradise” and even extra dimensional existence itself is through time revealed in both fascinating and gruesome events. A must read for any avid fantasy lover.
Oh, and did I forget to mention? It’s all rapped up with a unique narrative style that has a backstory of it’s own!!
